Joseph Magwaku has been in full time ministry for 15 years and served in the church for longer. He is currently one of the pas- tors at Covenanters Christian Church in Harare. He has been part of this church for 40 years. He is also a lecturer at the Shona Bible Institute in Chivi, Masvingo. This is a Bible school that trains rural pastors and those based in small towns in the local Shona language

Joseph is also involved in mercy ministries with Christ of First Importance Ministry (COFIM) where he heads feeding of orphans and skills training for young people. The skills training offers short courses to young unemployed people in Chivi rural district in the fields of Agriculture, welding, carpentry, food and nutrition and sewing.

Joseph did his training at Harare Theological College and graduated with a BTh in theology. He is Married to Lorraine and they have been blessed with 3 children (daughter Chiedza and two sons Nathan and David). He has a passion for young adults’ ministry as well as theological education for pastors and church leaders without ease of access to it.
