John was born in Zimbabwe and was saved at the age of 14. After serving as a policeman he went to study the Bible and Theology in the United States where he met his wife Miriam and returned to Zimbabwe in 1984. John pastored in Bindura for over 12 years and then Central Baptist Church in Harare for 20 years before he joined the pastoral team at Covenanters Christian Church in 2018. He has chaired the board of the Harare Theological College with which he remains connected and the Theological College of Zimbabwe (Bulawayo). John and Miriam have been blessed with 4 children.
